On a beautiful Sunday afternoon in May, members and families of the Marietta Kiwanis and Rotary watched the annual softball game. Since the challenge was first imitated in the year 2000, the Marietta Kiwanis has only won the coveted silver cup twice - until today. A crowd of spectators watched the two club's play seven innings for bragging rights with the occasional club rival comments.
A Rotarian was heard saying that the score didn't matter because you only have to win by one - but for the Kiwanians they wanted to win by two in case there
