Kiwanis Soap Box Derby @ World of Wheels

Jan 04 - All are invited to visit the Kiwanis Soap Box Derby Committee at the 2008 World of Wheels Car Show this Weekend.  The committee will exhibit Soap Box Derby cars at the 2008 World of Wheels Car Show this weekend at the Georgia World Congress Center.

Everyone,  young and old will have a great time.  Bring the kids, grandkids, spouse, neighbors kids!!!!

Soap Box Derby "Speed Secrets" Workshop

Soap Box Derby Race 2007

Since our inaugural Soap Box Derby Race in 2004,sponsored by the Marietta Kiwanis Club, more than 180 local kids have experienced the thrill of Soap Box Derby Racing and more than 1,200 spectators have turned out to cheer for their favorite drivers.  We've sent 10 kids to represent the State of Georgia in the All American Soap Box Derby World Championship Race in Akron, Ohio and have won two prestigous National Awards.

Marietta Soap Box Derby

WANTED:  DRIVERS for the Marietta Soap Box Derby June 9 at Marietta High School.  Open to kids in NW Georgia and the Greater Atlanta area to experience the thrill of Gravity Racing!  Kids ages 8-17 build their cars from kits and race downhill at speeds up to 30 mph.  Contact Devan or visit our website at www.mariettakiwanis.org
