Sponsored Youth Update

Kiwanis Advisor Marcia Taylor reports that the Lockheed K-Kids made over 30 “bouquets” for the residents at Hillhaven Senior Citizens Home in Marietta.  They made paper cone vases and stuffed them full of tissue paper flowers that they sprayed with a floral scent so that vision impaired residents could enjoy their bouquets too.  The bouquets were hand-delivered on Sunday, February 17.  The K-Kids are still talking about the Christmas Toys For Tots Drive that they participated in.  One fourth grade girls said:  I am sooo happy underprivileged kids got presents because of us!”
