Sponsored Youth Update

Barbara Hickey, Kiwanis Advisor, met with the Clay Elementary School K-Kids on Monday, February 26.  The K-Kids discussed upcoming events for Relay for Life.  The following events are planned:
March 2 – Pajama Day.  Students pay $ .50 to wear their pajamas to school or for a sticker to show their support without wearing their pajamas
March 15 – Lollipop Tree Day.  The students purchase lollipops for $ .25 or $ .50 with prizes given out
Upcoming events were planned that include:  selling American Cancer Society “Hope” Bracelets for $3.00, Penny Wars Week, and a May Yard Sale.
The K-Kids earned $3,806 for the American Heart Association in the Fall and are hoping to raise even more for Relay for Life.
