Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Campaign

Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Campaign
November 15th through December 13th

Marietta Kiwanis Club salutes the 60th year of the Marine Corps Reserve program that helps needy children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas.

Nov 15 - The Campaign kicks off with a rousing speech on patriotism given by Colonel Doug Hardsion, USMC. Promotional flyers and Toys for Tots collection boxes are available for members to take to their schools, churches, and businesses. Remember only unwrapped new toys, gift cards, and money will be accepted.

For Marietta Kiwanis Club members,  upon your request, Pat Huey will add donations to your Club billing.
Extra collection boxes and flyers will be at all meetings for others to get involved. Bill Sidner, Sandy Sanders, Norma Enete, Carol Sonnenfeld, and Karl Schwelm will coordinate the efforts throughout the Nov. 15 - Dec 13 period.

Dec 13 - At this Thursday meeting, we will host two Marines and finalize the collection of toys and money.
Remember the motto of the local Toys for Tots campaign mirrors our own community involvement; it is "Serving Atlanta area children, one toy at a time" !
