WE WON!!!!

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon in May, members and families of the Marietta Kiwanis and Rotary watched the annual softball game. Since the challenge was first imitated in the year 2000, the Marietta Kiwanis has only won the coveted silver cup twice - until today. A crowd of spectators watched the two club's play seven innings for bragging rights with the occasional club rival comments.

A Rotarian was heard saying that the score didn't matter because you only have to win by one - but for the Kiwanians they wanted to win by two in case there was a scoring error - you just never know!

Bill & Joe, it was an excellent game and now Victoria can hand over the reins of GM with a winning team. This challenge started in 2000 and we have been having fun ever since....well, we haven't had as much fun as the Rotarians (they have won more than we have) but "fun" is only as limited as you want it to be...it's been fun!!
