Grew up in South Dakota on a farm. Met wife Tammy at Sioux Falls, SD at University of Sioux Falls. Graduated from Warner Pacific College, Portland, OR with a B.A. in Church Music & Vocal Performance. Held ministry positions for over 30 years. Hobbies include: socializing/eating with firends, playing piano and singing, gardening/landscaping, hunting/fishing, traveling with wife Tammy who is also on staff at Town Center Community Church as Family Minister. Two grown sons, Matthew, (graduate of Auburn University) living in Athens, GA & Andrew, (wife Tonya)based in Colorado Springs, who is a full-time missionary and trainer of missionaries for YWAM (Youth With A Mission).
