Development Director - MUST Ministries

Carol Wisdom has been the development director for MUST Ministries since July, 2003. As director she is responsible for MUST?¬¨¬®¬¨¬¢¬¨¬®¬¨¬Æ‚Äö?†????´¬¨¬®¬¨¬Æ‚Äö?†??¬¨‚Ä¢s total development program, all related fund-raising staff and volunteers, and the operations of such programs as to achieve the financial (two million dollars) and public information goals for MUST Ministries?¬¨¬®¬¨¬¢¬¨¬®¬¨¬Æ‚Äö?†????´¬¨¬®¬¨¬Æ‚Äö?†??¬¨‚Ä¢ three locations. She has increased the revenues by 10% per year since she came to MUST. Carol is often called upon by smaller non-profits or start-up non-profits to consult with staff on grant writing and fund raising strategies. She has worked in the non-profit field for ten years.

Carol is an active member of Marietta Kiwanis where she is a past president. She chaired the Georgia District Convention of Kiwanis International in 2006. She is the Lt. Governor Elect for the 15th division and will take office in October, 2007. Cobb County Commissioners presented a resolution in July, 2000 naming Carol as one of six women in the community leading major civic organizations. The resolution was called ?¬¨¬®¬¨¬¢¬¨¬®¬¨¬Æ‚Äö?†????´¬¨¬®¬¨¬Æ‚Äö?†??‚Äö?†¬¥The Year of the Woman?¬¨¬®¬¨¬¢¬¨¬®¬¨¬Æ‚Äö?†????´¬¨¬®¬¨¬Æ‚Äö?†???ì?Ñ. Carol was named Kiwanian of the Year by Marietta Kiwanis in 2006.

Carol is an active member of Hillside United Methodist Church. She is a 1998 graduate of Leadership Cobb and was inducted into the YWCA of Northwest Georgia's Women of Achievement Academy in 2006.
