Sponsored Youth Committee
PURPOSE: Committee shall devise ways and means to establish and support K-Kids in elementary schools, Builders Clubs in middle schools, Key Clubs in high schools, and Circle K Clubs in the universities and colleges. The committee should encourage and promote activities of all programs sponsored by the club and involve club members as advisors for each sponsored program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- There will be five sub-chairmen, one for each school
- To monitor the operations of the Key Clubs by receiving monthly reports on the Sponsored Youth activities.
- To develop means by which the Kiwanis Club can offer guidance in administrative, training, activity development and program planning.
- Schedule an informal meeting with the Sponsored Youth Committee Officers at the start of the school year. Discuss your relationship and Establish a line of communication.
- Review the role of the Sponsored Youth in its school and the club's function as the Key Club Members see it.
- Explain the role of Kiwanis in the community and the function of the Committee on Sponsored Youth.
